Darren Insko is a native of Louisville, KY. He moved to the Triangle area in the spring of 1993, after accepting a job in RTP as a software engineer. During the fall of that year he met Angie, a native of Atlanta, GA, through the singles ministry of a North Raleigh church. They were married in June 1995 and moved to the Cary/Apex area. While searching for a church that was closer to their new home, they were attracted to Colonial's ad in the yellow-pages that described its focus on expository Bible teaching. Darren and Angie have been attending Colonial since 1995 and during that time they have been blessed with two wonderful children. Darren currently serves as the prayer coordinator for the Devoted242 ABF class for parents of middle school and high school students. Previously, he served as the First Grade AWANA Director and as a prayer/care coordinator for the Cornerstone ABF class. Some of the neighborhoods represented in this flock include Scottish Hills, MacGregor West, MacGregor Downs, and several Regency Park area neighborhoods north of Penny Road. |
